Head Chef (Supermarket Kitchen)

JOB DESCRIPTION
1.1. Oversee kitchen operations
- Manage and supervise all kitchen operations at Menas Mall and support kitchen setup for new projects.
- Plan, assign work schedules, and coordinate tasks for shift leaders and kitchen staff.
- Ensure kitchen operations meet standards and collaborate with restaurant management to enhance service quality.
1.2. Food Preparation
- Responsible for preparing dishes as assigned, ensuring quality and standards.
- Test new dishes as requested by the management or supervisors.
1.3. Builds Menu
- Collaborate on creating new menus and promotional programs.
- Support the development of recipes, portioning, presentation, and pricing of dishes.
1.4. Staff Training & Development
- Support the planning of training programs for successor staff in the kitchen department.
- Prepare theoretical and practical training materials; organize professional training courses.
1.5. Equipment & Material Management
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment, and propose additional tools when necessary.
- Regularly inspect the quality of raw materials and the condition of the storage.
1.6. Other Duties
- Attend meetings and training sessions, prepare reports, and perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Over 15 years of experience working in chain kitchens (Western/Asian/Vietnamese/Japanese, etc.), including at least 10 years as a Head Chef.
- Good health.
- Strong management mindset, creativity in dish creation, and presentation skills.
- Good communication skills and experience in staff training.
- Agile, hardworking, diligent, and proactive in work.
- Teamwork skills, ability to coordinate with others, work under high pressure, and manage time effectively.
- Positive attitude when interacting with customers and colleagues, demonstrating a service-oriented mindset.
WORKING HOURS
- 8 hours/day, 6 days/week (1 day off)
