Mena Gourmet has been honored with the “Inspiring Vietnamese Brand” award at the first Vietnam Brand Recognition Ceremony, part of Made by Vietnam Day 2025.
The event was organized by Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV) in collaboration with the Investment and Trade Promotion Center of Ho Chi Minh City (ITPC). It coincided with the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.
Mena Gourmet was recognized for its growth journey combined with the philosophy of promoting a selective, quality, and responsible lifestyle. According to company representatives, the mission goes beyond selling products, focusing instead on delivering cultural and community values. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quy, Chief Operating Officer of Mena Gourmet, emphasized the philosophy of “living selectively, living with quality, and living responsibly.”
He also announced the company’s 2025 strategy to expand with 10 new Mena Gourmet supermarkets across Ho Chi Minh City. This plan aims to shape a modern lifestyle shopping experience, where quality comes not only from products but also from curated values. Mena Gourmet sets its sights on becoming a global enterprise, bringing Vietnamese products, especially OCOP-certified items, to international markets.
The company has already partnered with major corporations such as Dong Tam, KIDO, MM Mega Market, and has strengthened ties with the Consulates General of Italy and New Zealand.
According to the leadership, these partnerships will further promote Vietnamese brands in the era of global integration. Mena Gourmet has also been actively supporting Vietnamese agriculture, including Thanh Ha ancestral lychee and Tay Giang farm produce. These initiatives aim to promote organic farming, protect public health, and safeguard the environment.
The “Inspiring Vietnamese Brand” award is recognition of Mena Gourmet’s commitment to innovation and social responsibility. The company reaffirmed its core philosophy: “Do sincerely, live beautifully, and spread sustainable values” as a guiding principle.
When asked about the meaning of the award, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quy noted that Made by Vietnam is not only about honoring brands but also affirming Vietnamese creativity and resilience. He added that the event serves as strong motivation for local businesses to pursue excellence and differentiation.
The recognition also reflects confidence that Vietnamese brands can leave a strong impression both domestically and globally. For Mena Gourmet, this marks an important milestone in its journey of growth and expanding influence.
